Downtown Palo Alto - 1 room in 3BR/2.5BA Townhouse - July 22 Move-in

Hi there!

We are looking for a roommate to rent a bedroom, available starting on July 22nd for $1615 per month ex-utilities/internet. The bathroom is shared with one of the two other roommates. We prefer long term roommates, short-term acceptable, but need to sign the main lease of the house until 31st July 2021 (2 years) and find a replacement, if moving out earlier (really not a problem in Palo Alto!). The room is available furnished, with a one-time takeover fee of $200 for main furnishings – main items: bedframe, mattress, desk, chair, nightstand. There will be a security deposit equal to one month’s rent.

This 1300 sq. ft. townhouse (3 beds, 2.5 baths) is in downtown Palo Alto, and is a short walking distance to University Ave & the Palo Alto Caltrain station (next to Johnson Park). 10-15 min. bike ride to Stanford Oval. The first floor includes a fully-stocked kitchen with granite countertops, furnished living & dinning rooms, & a small bathroom. The second floor includes two smaller bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and the master bedroom with private bathroom. The townhouse also has a private back patio, including a picnic table & gas grill.

Your roommates are two friendly & respectful males in their 20s and 30s, working/studying at Stanford. We maintain a regular cleaning schedule to keep the townhouse tidy, and expect anyone moving in to do the same. Must be LGBT friendly.

The townhouse includes a dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, range / oven, and refrigerator. Washer & dryer are on site. A storage unit & parking are also available. Water & garbage disposal fees are included. Electricity & high-speed internet cost ranges from $50 to $75 per month per person, depending on the time of year (e.g. electricity cost increases during winter months for heating).
