I just confirmed that I will be leaving my (pretty spectacular) apartment in Downtown Palo Alto, and my landlord asked that I advertise the opening. Here's the deal:

• Available mid-September
• $2600/mo before utilities
• The location has to be among the most legitimately urban spots on the Peninsula: Palo Alto Caltrain is less than two blocks away, and a Whole Foods and dozens of restaurants are within a two block radius.
• Street parking is not available nearby, but parking is available behind the unit for $60/mo.
• The unit is the upper floor of a converted Victorian (1897, I think) house in spectacular shape. The unit has a private entrance.
• The landlord is an architect, and takes great care of the place. He lives in the downstairs unit.
• In unit laundry, dishwasher, claw-foot tub, gas stove, electric oven.
