We are renting a studio in-law unit with an external, private entrance. We are both Stanford grads, and one of us works at Stanford.
About the location:
- a few blocks from the Willow exit off the 101, easy access to the highway
- 6 minute bike ride to Facebook
- 10 minute drive to downtown Palo Alto, about 15 minutes to Stanford
About the unit:
- 400 square feet: bedroom/living room, separate kitchen with room for a dining table, bathroom, and large closet
- kitchen has full refrigerator, brand new stove, lots of cabinets, brand new dishwasher, a garbage disposal.
- artificial wood flooring in bedroom/living room, tile in kitchen
- brand new blinds
- entrance through fenced backyard. Yard has grass, a lemon tree, flowers
- street parking only. It's not hard to park on the street and you can park overnight without a permit.
- washer dryer inside our garage. We have a separate washer/dryer inside our house, so the garage set is all yours.
- cutting-edge security camera system (you can see the door to your studio online all the time)
- electronic keypad lock (no need to carry a house key)
Terms:
- $2000/month plus $2000 security deposit
- includes all utilities (water, electricity, garbage)
- also includes internet (50 Mbps)
- available immediately, if you want to move in in March we will prorate the rent
- we have a dog, so you have to be ok with him being in the yard and you have to keep the gate closed for him. He's small (15 pounds), blind, and not at all scary.
- we are open to you having a pet with an additional fee to cover cleaning the apartment after you move out. If it's a dog, you'll have to bring the dog over to meet our dog and make sure they will be happy sharing the yard.
- 5-month lease or 12-month lease
