$1,350
Finding housing in the bay sucks. Paying $1,000 for half a room in a hacker house is more than some people pay for a 3 bedroom house (it might be in Phoenix, but still it's ridiculous).
That is all said to preface how surprised I was when I found this home. The price was average-ish but it came with so much more than anywhere else offered -- and I don't just mean the big house or amenities (wi-fi and 2x/mo cleaners are included with rent). I found my family, the people I hang out with and get along with. That's who we're looking to attract, someone who cares to join the family.
Without further ado, details on the room/house:
It's 1 room in a 6br/3ba house in Foster City for 1,350. Conveniently located in the middle of the San Francisco Peninsula. Foster City offers convenient access to San Francisco, Silicon Valley and San Jose. Walk to Foster City Pedway/Bikeway which goes along the Bay. Close to Freeways (101, 92, 280).
Visa, Sony, IBM, Oracle HQ
If you think you'd be a good fit, come on by and meet the roomies and see a housing situation that doesn't suck ;)
