Furnished bedroom in 4BR/2BA house in Palo Alto near Cal Ave - Jan 1st

Furnished room available from January 1st in a light and spacious four bedroom, two bathroom house share on the upper floor of a two storey house. The location is a 10-15 minute walk from California Avenue and Caltrain station, 10-15 minute bike ride to Stanford campus and a short bike to nearby grocery stores.

Rent is $1325 per month, not including utilities and internet, and a months rent is required as deposit upon signing the lease. You will be replacing myself on the lease and we are ideally looking for someone to sign for a minimum of six months. No pets allowed.

The room has a closet and comes with a queen-size bed frame and mattress, desk and office chair. The house is equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. Outside there is space for two cars on the driveway and free parking on the road, garage storage space and a locked bike shed in the back yard. You will be sharing the house with three guys but both male and female roommates have lived here before myself and they have no preference in that regard. A bit about the roommates:

• Armon is an engineer who likes cycling, Korean movies, and camping, in no particular order. He likes barbecue of all kinds, when he can get it, and aspires to run a food truck with his friends.

• Karl is a statistical geneticist who studies brain disorders like Parkinson’s disease. he's originally from Vancouver, Canada, but studied in England, and have been living in the US for about four years. In his spare time he likes playing sports, piano, and Dungeons and Dragons.

• Steve is an engineer from Boston working at a startup while finishing up a grad degree at Stanford. Interests include robotics, karaoke, sports, and board games.
