$1250 furnished bedroom (Palo Alto)

Furnished private bedroom for 1 person, bathroom shared with 1 person (male), long term preferred (6mo or more), all utilities, internet, cable TV, linens, laundry, utensils are included; minimal kitchen privileges. We do not have pets. Plenty of parking on the street.

The room is small, comfortable, and has all that a scholar needs (minimalist style :)).
Most suitable for Stanford-affiliated candidates - there are other 2 Stanford international grads.
The townhouse is in mid-town Palo Alto, close to mid-town shopping center (walking); 4.5 mls to Stanford - biking, 1.5 mls to Caltrain, bus stop around the corner; very upscale, quiet, green area; house is updated; 3bedrooms/3baths; hardwood floors; dishwasher, washer, dryer; sauna; designer's touch; walking to restaurants/shopping; shared kitchen; laundry in unit; renovated.
Owner: middle-aged, eastern-european woman, respectful, considerate, friendly, easy going; travels a lot. We love guests but are respectful of space and time. We've had housemates (international Stanford visiting profs and grads) for a while and enjoyed them very much (great people!). This is a family-like accommodations, everybody is friendly, respectful, educated (not fully completed PhD is OK though - lol)
Please no smokers - no drinkers (occasional social drinking is fine) - no illegal drugs - no pets.
For international students - bonus: pick up from the airport if needed as a welcome :)
