Furnished Master Suite in Mountain House

Do you have a desire to be surrounded by nature, creeks, trees and sunsets? If so this might be the space for you. We live on a 23 acre property of rolling hills and oak ridges nestled among a golden valley. It's an incredibly beautiful landscape, five minutes from the top of Windy Hill, 30-35 min from Stanford/Palo Alto.

HOUSE DETAILS:

5 bedroom / 2.5 bath house holding the promise of a warm home. The house features large common spaces with high ceilings, a large kitchen, a large balcony, wood burning stove, and even a piano. This house is a work in process surrounded by gardens, pastures, and forests - plenty of space to grow, play, reflect, and unwind. All bedrooms have access to balconies with sunrise views. Though we try and carpool, having your own vehicle is preferred.

HOUSEMATE DETAILS:

Our group consists of Stanford-affiliated artists, scientists, and positive thinkers with experience living cooperatively. We are a group that strives for diversity. There are three of us in our 30s, including housemates of color and queer housemates. We also have a 6 year-old (the daughter of one of our roommates) who brings with her a lively and explorative energy as well as a 1yr old cat named Teaspoon. We welcome good spirited, child-friendly, creative, professional people with a strong leaning towards social justice and who appreciate and respect nature and each other.

ROOM DETAILS:

We have a master bedroom open ($1750) for a single person or couple plus utilities (high-speed Internet, gas, electricity, trash ~100). The room includes it’s own full bathroom and comes lightly furnished with a desk, king-sized bed, and a walk-in closet. A separate art/music/work studio can be included with the room for an additional $250 per month. The security deposit is one month’s rent.
