Furnished private room in a 4-bedroom Palo Alto house. Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood 10 min walk to San Antonio CalTrain station. San Antonio Shopping Center is right around the corner with Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Safeway, Target, 24 Hour Fitness, etc. Located on a popular bike route to Palo Alto/Stanford and only 3.5 miles to campus. Laundry is included and onsite. You'll be sharing a bathroom with two considerate and conscientious housemates. Driveway and street parking available. We also have a maintained backyard with mature trees and endless Meyer lemons. Current renters are a software designer working at Stitch Fix, an engineering grad student intern at Tesla, and a consultant. There is also a shy 1 year old cat.

The vibe of the house is that we are all friendly but busy individuals with independent lives. It's a quiet, respectful house with the expectation that common areas are kept very tidy and clean. We're looking for someone that is kind and likeminded who also appreciates and independently contributes to clean common areas and a calm atmosphere. Put another way: we all make messes as we live our lives and if you’re not cleaning up well after yourself you are asking the rest of us to either live in your mess or clean up after you - neither of which is going to work here. If that sounds kinda harsh and crazy to you then this is likely not the house for you. If that sounds like a relief then you could be a fit.

First month's rent + $500 security deposit reserves the room, last month's rent due by move in date. Month to month sublease. Internet+utilities range from $80-135/month per person.
