I have a $40 gift card for Oakville Grocery, which is an upscale / gourmet food store in the Palo Alto Shopping Center. They have great wine, foreign delicacies such as olive oils, chocolates and all kinds of other stuff -- baking mixes for English scones, specialty organic jams, etc.
No restrictions and no expiration. I'd just rather buy 30 bowls of ramen than get a $40 bottle of wine (starving grad student).
