$1,574
Hi all,
I am early 30s/female, started working at Stanford a few months ago. I'm hoping I can find two people (or one person and one couple) who would be interested in going in on an apartment together.
It's a nice apartment building in San Jose, 3bd/3bth for $4,197 a month, available 7/14. We'd have to act really fast.
I worked out a pricing split based on square footage of each room.
Master bed - approx. 175 sq ft. ~ 37.5%
Bed A - approx. 151 sq. ft. ~ 32.5%
Bed B - approx. 140 sq. ft. ~ 30%
So pricing would break down as:
Master: $1,574
Bed A: $1,364
Bed B: $1,259
Total: $4,197
Utilities/Internet would be split evenly.
Bedrooms A and B could swap prices, due to Bedroom B having the walk-in closet. My budget is lower, so I'm looking for two people who might have higher budgets for $1,574/$1,364.
*Another solid option - a couple takes the master bedroom, and everyone pays the same price ($1,049.25/month).
YES. San Jose.
-The building is about a 15 minute walk from the Caltrain station. There are bullet trains that make ONE stop before Palo Alto, and Stanford offers free train passes. Save on parking costs/gas and still get to campus faster than you would driving, in many places!
-It's a nice building for a much more reasonable price than you'll ever find in Palo Alto
-Everyone gets their own room and bathroom, like having a little studio, but sharing common spaces makes it less lonely. :)
-Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc. very close by - benefits of a city.
Please only reply if you are interested in this deal. I understand it isn't for everyone, and that's okay.
Tell me more about yourself, which room you'd like to take, and let's connect ASAP!
Thanks :)
