About: Our Golden Retriever, Ruby, has had eight puppies. This is her first and only litter. We let her have one litter because she is an exceptionally well mannered dog and can help diversify the Golden gene pool. We got her while living in Berlin so she is not AKC but - as many breeders have told us - will benefit from having European genes as there is a notoriously small gene pool for Goldens in the US. She is an excellent family dog with a superior disposition, no genetic issues or allergies. She is equally at home going to work with my husband for 10-12 hour days, coming on multi-day backpacking trips or hanging a home. In that sense she is a true Golden, fitting in with your mood and plans day to day. She is smaller in stature (~60lbs) with a European coat. We bred her with Teddy, an all American Golden in the area who has previously sired a healthy litter of eight. Both mother and father are available to see.
