I am looking for one person to rent out my basement. It has a bedroom, a room for an office, a living room, and its own private bathroom and one off-street parking spot. Available starting September 20th. Lease 10-12 months.

There is a 120” movie screen in the basement that is for shared use as well. A nice movie collection that you have access to. On-site laundry is shared between us and is located in the basement. Shared use of the main level kitchen. All utilities (electricity, gas, water, trash/recycling, and internet (1 GB speed from Quantum Fiber) are built into the rent. I have a grill that you can share the use of during the summer.

In the Hamline/Midway neighborhood. NO smoking and no pets allowed. Close to the Green Line train and Hamline University. Rent of $930 a month. $930 security deposit.

I live on the main floor of the house and don't use the basement a lot, except for laundry, so you have a fair amount of privacy. My previous tenant lived here for three and a half years and is moving out.

Basic info about me: I am a guy in his early 40’s and have a laid-back type of personality. I enjoy technology, movies, board games, trying to stay active as much as I can, and generally just looking for a good fit in a new roommate.
