This Guardian balance bike is a 12 inch balance bike in black with blue rims and blue and green accents. It has no pedals - toddlers push along with their feet and learn steering and balance first, which makes the move to a pedal bike much easier. Unlike most balance bikes (Strider, Woom and Prevelo included), the Guardian has a real hand brake: the patented SureStop brake system uses a single easy-reach lever that controls both brakes, so a small rider can actually stop, and it is designed to prevent going over the bars. This one was used just 4 times - it is barely used and like new, with clean paint, fresh-looking tires, and everything working as it should.
Guardian Bikes builds kids bikes around safety, and describes this balance bike as having a lightweight frame with a low center of gravity and the patented SureStop Brake System, with geometry and parts engineered for kids' proportions. The low step-through frame lets toddlers get on and off by themselves, and the seat adjusts with a quick-release so the bike grows with them.
