This Trek 930 Singletrack is a mid-1990s mountain bike in green and purple fade paint. The frame is True Temper OX chromoly steel, built by Trek in the USA, with a RockShox suspension fork. It has a Shimano STX drivetrain with 21 speeds, cantilever brakes, bar ends and a bottle cage.
Trek started in 1976 in a barn in Waterloo, Wisconsin, and the Singletrack series was its American-made steel mountain bike line. The 930 sat near the top of that line, with high-end True Temper OX tubing and a parts spec that still holds up today - these frames have become favorites for gravel and bikepacking builds.
Suggested uses: trail riding, gravel roads, commuting, bikepacking and all-around riding.
