Home in the Woods (Room)

Do you have a desire to escape from the buzz of the valley and be surrounded by nature, creeks, trees and sunsets? If so this might be the space for you.

We live on a 23 acre property of rolling hills and oak ridges nestled among a golden valley. It's an incredibly beautiful landscape, five minutes from the top of Windy Hill, 30-35 min from Stanford/Palo Alto.

HOUSE DETAILS:
5 bedroom / 2.5 bath house holding the promise of a warm home. The house features large common spaces with high ceilings, a large kitchen for communal cooking, a large balcony, wood burning stove, and even a piano! This house is a work in process surrounded by gardens, pastures, and forests - plenty of space to grow, play, reflect, and unwind. All bedrooms have access to balconies with sunrise views. Though we try and carpool, having your own vehicle is preferred.

HOUSEMATE DETAILS:
Our group currently consists of Stanford-affiliated artists, scientists, students, and positive thinkers with experience living cooperatively. We are a group that strives for diversity. Our home includes many housemates of color, queer housemates and a gender balance that we appreciate. We also have a 3 year-old toddler (the daughter of one of our roommates) who brings with her a lively and explorative energy. We welcome good spirited, child-friendly, creative, professional people with a strong bias towards social justice and who appreciate and respect nature and each other.

ROOM DETAILS:
We have one cozy room open for a single person ($750) plus utilities (high-speed Internet, gas, electricity, trash ~100). Available for April 1st Move-in 2017. The room itself is small, but the house is expansive.
