About Us: We are a Stanford-affiliated family living close to campus, and will be renting out our converted garage apartment starting soon for the school year (or longer). Available August/September time frame. We are welcoming and family-oriented, no partying etc. FYI, we have dogs, chickens and an organic garden.
Location: On Mariposa Avenue, between Churchill and Peers Park in Palo Alto. Great for biking/walking -- around 0.5 miles to campus (across El Camino by Serra), around 0.6 to Trader Joe's at Town & Country and 0.6 to CalTrain California Avenue.
Rooms: The space is around 250 square feet, with a bedroom, sitting room, and private bath/shower. Rent is $1500/month all-in including utilities, wi-fi and DirecTV. Rooms are partially furnished but we can work it out if you want more or less stuff.
Privacy: You have a separate entrance through the backyard, but you are also welcome to use the house. You have sliding door access to the front yard porch area as well. You will have a mini-fridge and microwave, but would need to use the kitchen for real cooking, and there is a shared laundry/pantry area.
