Used IKEA Tarva Bed Frame. Overall functional but has a few issues (pictured). (1) Part of the headboard fell apart so I nailed it back together myself (see last picture). (2) There is a bit of gaping at the top center of the headboard (see second to last picture). (3) The metal supports below the slats are broken, so the slats can fall in occasionally, but this could be fixed with a little duct tape or something to keep them from sliding around then falling in.
Despite these problems, I've been sleeping on it for a while, and I think a better handyperson could make it even more functional with a couple of fixes.
This isn't the highest-quality frame, but if you're looking for a cheap/temporary frame that is nice to look at and does the job, this is for you.
Two thick (~4 inch) mattress pads also available for an additional $20 total. I've been double-layering the mattress pads instead of using a mattress and it's super comfy.
