About Lingli School
Lingli School is a Mandarin immersion preschool serving children ages 2–5. We provide a nurturing, play-based learning environment where children develop language, social, emotional, and cognitive skills through immersive experiences in Mandarin.
Position Overview
We are seeking a warm, energetic, and experienced Mandarin-speaking Music Teacher to lead engaging music and movement classes for preschool-aged children (2–5 years old). The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and can create a fun, developmentally appropriate music curriculum in Mandarin.
Responsibilities
Plan and lead weekly music and movement classes for children ages 2–5
Use Mandarin as the primary language of instruction
Introduce rhythm, singing, instruments, dance, and basic musical concepts
Create age-appropriate, engaging, and interactive lessons
Encourage participation, creativity, and joyful learning
Collaborate with classroom teachers to align with school themes and routines
Maintain a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment
Observe and support children’s developmental needs during activities
Qualifications
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (required)
Experience teaching music to young children (preschool or early childhood preferred)
Strong understanding of early childhood development (ages 2–5)
Energetic, patient, and engaging teaching style
Ability to manage groups of young children in a classroom setting
Music training or background preferred (voice, instrument, or early childhood music education)
Preferred Qualifications
Early Childhood Education (ECE) experience or certification
Experience in bilingual or immersion classroom settings
Ability to incorporate movement, dance, and creative expression
