Are you looking for a car that just works? You like the no-frills approach and prefer a reliable 4-wheeled machine that can take you from point A to point B?

I'm moving to Manhattan so I'm letting go of my such said car 🙁

I put in more than $1000 in new parts in the past year (NOT including labour) thinking I will be driving it around for a while. With my new job in New York though, I will mostly be using public transport so I won't need it. Friends, my loss is your gain.

UNBEATABLE TRANSPARENCY + CLEAN TITLE
This car has only had three owners in its lifetime and two of those were in the same family. The previous owner actually put in more than $1000 into new parts between 2024 and 2025 thinking that she will be driving it around for a while until she got a job overseas. I am the third owner and I have had it for less than a year before being forced to sell it for a similar reason. This means that I have ALL service records and receipts dating back to the original purchase of the car so you know the complete car history. No accidents.

For your peace of mind, I also just took the car to a mechanic and did a pre-purchase inspection and here are all the notes:

• There is a small oil leak behind the timing belt which will need to be looked at eventually, but my mechanic isn't worried about it for now. I note that the timing belt itself is fine and isn't due until ~200k miles.
• The exhaust manifold has a crack in it that leads to louder engine noise and more vibrations but it is not major and my mechanic also isn't worried about it.
• Left side windows sometimes struggle a little bit but will still close.

Few other recommended actions that don't need attention right now:

• New air filter (~$30)
• New transmission fluid (~$180)
• Right front drive axle dripping some grease and needs monitoring
• Wheel alignment

Cosmetic notes:

• Some cosmetic dents and scratches
• Some rust on underside (common for vehicles that were driven on the East coast, where the car is originally from)

None of these things impact the current functional driveability of the car and the car runs well - I just took it to Yosemite with no issues BEFORE seeing the mechanic. If you were really detail-oriented about it and addressed everything functional above, it would be maybe ~$2k for parts and labour.

Parts that have been added on since 2024 (not including minor parts that also all added up!):

By previous owner (2024-2025) (as disclosed to me - I think this one includes labour):

• Power steering pump, pressure hose, valve cover gasket set, return/suction hoses – $1,398
  Many small oil, vacuum, and fluid hoses replaced at the same time
• Oil & filter change, exhaust flex pipe replacement, front & rear brakes, front brake rotor assembly & discs – $905
• New tires - $400
• New battery - $200

By me (2025-2026) (NOT including labour!):

• New radiator - $230
• New engine mount + torque rods - $340
• New evap canister - $360

I would guess that this car is probably worth between $3000 to $3500 at least, especially with its new parts, but because I would ideally like to sell it by early next week, you are getting a big discount.
