$1,675
Large private room available in a 600sq.-ft. apartment (10 unit gated complex). Centrally located in the upper Haight-Ashbury district.
If interested, email me a little about yourself. I'd be happy to send you some pics and schedule a meeting/viewing. I have attached two map pics showing the location in more detail.
Other Details:
This is a rent-controlled place, so that's why it's a steal and probably sounds too good to be true. The only "catch" is that you will not have a living-room area, since it is my "room." However:
a) it is completely curtained-off, so you can't see my furniture
b) I travel for work and am gone Monday morning until Thursday evening (I work from home Friday). So I'm basically only home on the weekend. I do ask that you respect it as my room and personal space, however :)
About me:
Newly 24 yr-old single female. Graduated from Stanford in 2015 with B.S. in Civil and Environmental engineering. Currently work for a consulting firm in SF (explains the travel). I'm pretty laid back...down to go out or stay in. We can be buddies or just cordial housemates who see each other time to time, whatever you're looking for is fine with me....but I'm usually down to do something if you are :)
I clean up after myself in common spaces, love dogs and pretty much most animals (sadly don't have any tho, but open to the idea if you do), I like watching comedy, dancing it up to 90s R&B/HipHop, exploring, EATING at all the great food places in the city, casual biking, the occasional Netflix marathon, etc.
I prefer a similarly aged female (but males still considered). Obviously must have proof of employment and ability to pay the rent.
Details:
The rent is $2700 in total...since I'm rarely there and don't have the actual room, I'd pay $325 less than 50/50 (I pay $1,025 and you pay $1675). If you've ever looked for housing in SF, that is definitely a steal considering the private room, complex amenities, location, and the fact you'd have a roommate that's gone most of the time. The only thing I ask is that you treat the curtained-off living room as my actual bedroom and be respectful of my space- even when I'm not home. That goes both ways...both rooms have a do-not-enter-unless-invited policy....just to respect privacy...but I think that's standard with most roommates.
That's pretty much it, if interested, hmu. Thanks!
