Living as a Service

Dear Stanford friends:

Introducing a great new service, Living as a Service.

Living as a Service will...

...find a comfortable, bright, safe house for you to live in that is within walking or biking distance to your work or place of study.
...match you with other good people to be your roommates and housemates.
...provide your living arrangement as a subscription service, with all furniture, utilities, Internet, basic food items, periodic cleaning, etc. included in the price.
...price this service at about $1,000 per month, plus or minus, depending on the location.
...allow commitments ranging from 1-4 months, starting on the 1st or 15th of each calendar month.

To take advantage of this offer, email solution@livingasaservice.com with the subject line "Please solve my housing problem". In the body of the email, include the following:

1. URL of your LinkedIn profile
2. Address of your work place, school, or other landmark you want to live near
3. Desired move-in date and how long you might want to stay
4. Restrictions on roommates (normal answer for girls: "female only", for guys: "none")

We have partnered with a real estate agency in Palo Alto to get hundreds of people placed in houses by September 1.
