Athenaeum is a family friendly intentional community in a big old house between Menlo Park and Redwood City. Right now we have a master suite open and are looking for one or two additional housemates. Specifically we’re looking for people who are interested in building friendships that will last, and being active parts of a intellectual, kid friendly, and mellow community. We’re primarily a bunch of tech types with a significantly international flavor. Most of us have lived with each other before at co-ops the Bay Area over.
The available room has its own entrance, thermostat, bathroom, walk in closet, and is quite large. Rent is in the 1700, plus $150/person for utilities and food. There is a pool, ample storage space, parking and all the common spaces in the house are really lovely particularly the yard and garden.
