Looking for a house share for me and my dog.

Hi. My name is Justin. I am a graduate student in the biosciences at Stanford. I am looking for a place to live off campus where I could live and could have my dog, Ruby. My lease here is up in early/mid June, but I could move out a bit earlier if necessary.

I am looking for house shares. Ideally I’d like to find a place within biking distance (5-6 miles or less, but I may consider a bit further for something awesome). Also ideally I’d find a house with people who like dogs and if possible have a dog of their own. It would be great for Ruby to have a playmate.

A bit more about me: I am 27, easy going, and a considerate housemate. I have lived with various housemates since college and know how it important it is to be considerate and respectful of others, and to bring up any conflicts that may occur before they spiral out of control. I can provide references for both me and Ruby from past landlords and housemates if you like. I am fairly active and enjoy most all outdoor activities and get outside whenever I get a chance. I am hoping to find a place that would have a bit of storage space as I am also a Divemaster and have some of my Scuba stuff with me and my kayaks. A place with a yard would be best for Ruby as well.

If possible I’d love to live in a house that likes cooking together, and with other people who share hobbies that I have, but this not a requirement.

Attached are two photos of me and Ruby. She is a medium dog, about 50-60 pounds and very well trained. Ruby has lived with various dogs before, everything from a tea cup Chihuahua to a large Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is an aussie shepherd mix herself. She doesn’t bark except for when someone rings the door bell, and is very friendly with people and most other pets including cats (she is currently living with my parents and their cat as dogs aren’t allowed on campus). It would be great for her to live with dog lovers and if possible another dog. Please contact me if you’d be interested in having me and Ruby as a housemates.

I am looking to pay $1000 or less if possible, but if you think I may be a very good fit for your house and the rent is a bit more feel free to contact me.
