We have a large house in southern Palo Alto, near the 101 (2 miles from Google, 4-5 miles from Stanford). We're a house of 4-5 graduate students and working professionals (22-26 years old). We have an opening in our master bedroom (very large, with private bathroom).
We have a large common area downstairs (living room, dining room, kitchen, side room) that we share, and a large back yard (with pool). The house members are quite social and tend to hang out downstairs in the evenings.
The share of rent for that room is $1075/month plus utilities. Please contact us if you would be interested in joining this arrangement and let us know a bit about yourself. We're looking for someone who could join the lease as soon as possible.
