We are two first year anthropology grad students looking for one to three more studious but sociable grad students to fill out a house with each housemate having their own room. We don't have our eye on a particular domicile yet, but we are interested in finding a home within bicycling distance of Stanford campus with a move-in date of September 1st through 15th. $600-900 per room sounds reasonable depending on how much space you need.
Damien is a 25-year-old non-smoker from Southern California that has been in the East Bay for the last two years. He's vegetarian (mostly vegan), but absolutely doesn't mind if others aren't. He likes bicycling and baseball, but will probably be primarily preoccupied with school. Anna is 28, a non-smoker, friendly, organized, and tidy but not a neat-freak. We both love to cook.
We will have some furniture and cooking appliances, but with enough space for your stuff. We are looking for housemates who are considerate, sociable, and good communicators. Ideally, people who are looking for a home, not just a place to sleep. We feel that other graduate students would make the best fit.
Anna is on the East Coast and will have limited access to internet and cell phones August 2nd to 24th. Her email address is annawest@stanford.edu and her phone number is 650-248-4819.
Damien is in the Bay Area and will have limited access to internet and no access to a phone from August 7th to August 25th. His email address is damiendroney@hotmail.com and his phone number is 818-519-2760. Please contact us with some information about yourself. We look forward to hearing from you!
Male and female applicants are welcome.
