Looking for person to share 2BR/2BA dream home with Stanford couple

We are a couple, two Stanford MD/MD-PhD students. We are looking for someone to share a gorgeous flat in a Victorian house less than 1mi from campus. Move-in date ideally beginning of August, but can be as early as next week (or potentially beginning of Sept).

You would have your own bedroom and full bathroom, and we would take the master bedroom. Some more notes about the place:

• Less than a mile from Stanford on Cowper Ave in Palo Alto
• The kitchen has been updated with steel appliances, cherry wood cabinets, and granite countertops; updated bathrooms; hardwood floors and crown molding
• Laundry room with washer/dryer and built-in ironing board
• Front porch and landscaped front yard
• Central A/C
• price does not include utilities, which we estimate will be $200/month (of which you would pay ~$60)
• note that the room is not furnished at the moment, but it can be furnished or unfurnished (negotiable on price if you take it unfurnished)

About us:
We like to hike, run, cook (one of us makes amazing pizza from scratch!), and have intellectual conversations. We enjoy having pretty busy lives. We're looking for someone who is similar to us in the following ways:

• very clean
• nonsmoking
• relatively quiet
• respectful of common spaces (kitchen, living room) -- and in general, will treat the place as if you own it
• relatively energy/water conscious
• down to host an occasional dinner party
• will approve guests with each other in advance
• ideally, someone who is pretty busy/won't be in the flat much (we will also be quite busy)
• no pets, please (sorry)
