My name's Heidi, and I'm a recent Stanford grad looking for a roommate to co-sign a lease on a as-of-yet undetermined apartment in downtown San Mateo, starting near the end of March/beginning of April. (I've been leaning toward 55 West Fifth since they have reasonable 2BD/2BA, but I'm uber flexible as long as it's in the vicinity of downtown.) I've been at my current job for almost four months now and am rather entrenched, and our office might soon be moving to downtown San Mateo, so I'm not inclined to leave the area.
I'm a very clean, laid-back person (yeah, I know, seems contradictory), but I prefer to spend most of my time when I'm at home alone in my room watching IT Crowd and Arrested Development reruns. I'm an introvert who works twelve hour days at a startup, so I'm mostly "peopled" out by the time I get home and will likely not be super social, even on the weekends (which is when I'm in recovery mode). I love shopping, Project Runway, plants, pillows, recycling, and a "cooler" environment, temperature-wise. I'm very invested in the idea of having my own space, and I'm looking for a roommate with a similar mindset.
I would prefer a female roommate. Not a lot of drinking, and no smoking please. I love cleaning, so that definitely won't be an issue. I'd want to split rent + utilities + internet 50/50, but I'd be open to negotiating based on usage and whatnot. I also have Netflix, if that makes a difference. :)
