I am looking for a roommate to share a 2bd, 2bath apartment with me because my roommate is moving out to live with his gf. I recently graduated from Stanford and am now working in the area. The place is month to month. I prefer someone that is looking to stay at least 6 months, but I am open to something more short term.
A little about me:
- I am a 30 year old Male. Got my PhD late last year at Stanford and now I'm working at a tech company nearby.
- During the week I am mostly at work, leave at 830AM come back 8-10PM, go to bed around midnight. After work I like to chill out and watch some TV, mainly ESPN, TV shows, Daily show etc. On the weekends I am either at my gf's place or she stays over for the weekend.
- Im pretty chill, the only thing I ask in a roommate is to keep the common areas clean.
A litte about the place:
- Move in date: available 8/15!
- Its a fairly large 2bd, 2 bath. Your room would be the master bedroom with the bathroom is inside your room.
- The living room has two couches, coffee table, and a TV.
- Bills, split 50/50 we pay for trash/water, electricity/gas, and cable/internet. It comes out to about $150-200/person
- Ive been living there for about 2 years. Its a decent apartment complex, theres a pool and BBQ area, and its gated. Your own parking spot in the garage underground. My main complaint is that its a little noisy because its facing the street (California St.) so you hear passing cars and buses, I got used to it though pretty quick. I don't think you can find something better at this price!
- 1885 California St. The complex is called Maplewood. ~15min drive to Stanford. Few blocks from downtown MV.
