We are a semi-retired married couple offering housing, for someone who enjoys quiet and privacy, yet likes the idea of sharing a house. It would be ideal for a graduate student, a visiting fellow, a postdoc, or Stanford staffer.
We have 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs. ONE OF THESE BEDROOMS IS AVAILABLE for one person. One is already rented. They share exclusive use of the remaining parts of the upstairs level. This includes one bathroom and a bright and cheerful living space. Both renters will also share most of the house with us, which include the living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry room. Also, free use of our good-sized yard. Rent includes WIFI, all utilities, and house cleaners every 4 weeks. It will be available starting Sept 1st.
We are in a great neighborhood - less than a 5-minute walk to downtown Los Altos - we are close to Stanford - car, public transport, or bike.
