Looking for a CS major who is highly proficient in Swift programming language and app development.
I currently have an open source 'clone' of the app "Yik Yak" (90% "finished") that needs to be tweaked a bit for my own app. And before you ask... no, my app will not be another Yik Yak copycat - it will be significantly different, but this Yik Yak clone is a good starting point.
Therefore, other qualifications include knowledge of the Yik Yak app itself, such as creating profiles, tracking user information and news feeds/databases/servers (Note that Geolocation (GPS) is NOT a needed feature for my app). Knowledge of Parse is a plus.
The code itself doesn't appear to be too complicated - for someone who knows Swift pretty well, and can intelligently use StackOverflow and other resources to figure the rest out, it should be a piece of cake.
If you are interested, please get back to me and we can call / I can come to campus to discuss further, in particular what specific tasks I would need accomplished, as well as compensation ($$$).
In your response, please include your qualifications, as well as what kind of free time you are looking at for the rest of this Winter quarter.
(FYI, I am a recent Stanford graduate working in the Bay Area, MS EE).
Thanks!
