I bought this new to test with a laptop, but we ended up selling the laptop so I don't need to USB WiFi adapter any more. It was only used for a short time. This is a long-range, dual-band USB 3.0 adapter that could get a good signal even far away from our router. It supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac at speeds up to 300 Mbps / 867 Mbps.
