About the house: Two story home with 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom upstairs and 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom downstairs. First floor offers an updated kitchen and bathroom, large living room with lots of seating, and a dining room with a large table and windows. The kitchen has an abundance of cabinet space, counter space, and a gas stove. Washer and dryer are located in the sun room which connects to the kitchen in the back of the house.
Outside, the house provides a large front porch and fenced in side and back yards. There is a separate single car garage for storage. The driveway can park two vehicles, and there is always ample street parking on the side of the house. A residential parking pass is available.
About the room: Second floor room with a large and deep closet. The room shares the second floor bathroom with 1 neat and respectful roommate. Each person has their own sink. Currently, the room fits a queen bed, small desk, and a chest of drawers.
About the roommates: 3 males in their 20s/30s. All work locally in Palo Alto. With the new work from home restrictions, the house offers a quiet and comfortable place to work, and all roommates have been doing their part in social distancing and keeping the home a safe place to live. Under more typical work environments, the roommates are quite active and traveling quite a bit, though it is not difficult to find 1 or 2 to chat with in the evening after work!
About the area: The house is located a block off of University Ave in Palo Alto, so lots of restaurants, coffeeshops, and bars are right around the corner. 10 minute walk to Palo Alto Caltrain station. Easily bikeable to Stanford’s campus. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Willow Market (grocery store) are walkable, and it's a short drive to Safeway on El Camino.
About the sublet: Sublet is available from end of March to end of lease on 6/30/2020. It will likely be possible to re-sign the lease at that time as a few of the roommates plan on staying. $1625 per month plus utilities.
