We’re six young professionals in our 20s-30s (and two gorgeous cats) looking for a subletter to join our sunny home this October. We try to foster a laid-back, kind, inclusive environment, and we have systems (e.g. chores) to keep the house clean and comfortable for everyone :)
The room is private and spacious (143 ft2) with a closet and a large window overlooking the backyard. We have a queen bed and some other furniture we can include if you’d like.
The house is large (2,450 ft2) with big windows and wood floors, and sits on a quiet, tree-lined street. Common spaces include a modern kitchen, full dining room, cozy living room, spacious garage storage/workspace, and a laundry room with an in-unit washer/dryer. The private backyard includes a sauna, hot tub, swimming pool, and brick patio. This location is great if you want convenient access to everything (by car); we’re right by 280 (10 min from SFO) and a 25 minute drive to both Stanford University and the Mission in SF, while great food (e.g. San Mateo) and gorgeous hiking (e.g. Pacifica) is reachable in 15 minutes. Public transit is not walkable from our house
