We have a beautiful, well maintained, 3 BR, 2 1/2 BA, 1643 SF, detached single family, courtyard style home, west of El Camino near Atherton. The neighborhood is family-friendly and very safe. One nicely sized bedroom available for rent, a secondary bath with two sinks and a separate tub/toilet room, a downstair bes powder room, a side-by- side laundry room and a downstairs common area for entertaining. All common areas are fully furnished. The kitchen has updated bamboo hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, built in microwave, gas stove, granite countertops and plenty of cabinet space. The home has recessed lighting with dimmer switches throughout. There is a front entry patio area with a stainless steel BBQ grill and a rear open space area with beautiful mature redwoods. Guest parking and ample street parking is available. This is a drug/smoke-free home and we wish to keep it that way. Occasional drinking nights are welcomed but this is not the party palace. No pets are allowed.

Conveniently located minutes away from 101 and 280. Target, Wholefoods, Safeway and DT Redwood City are within walking/biking distance. Menlo Park, Stanford, Palo Alto are just miles away. Located between the Redwood City or Atherton (available on the weekends) Caltrain stops.

We have one bedroom available for rent. The bedroom is courtyard facing, 130 sq. ft., has a large walk-in closet and two windows providing ample natural light. We have a large attic for additional storage and a linen closet in the hallway for both rooms to share.

About Us:

Mike is an engineer working for a startup and Meg is an accountant for a private equity firm in the bay. They occupy the Master bedroom. Elio is a physics engineer at a local research lab and occupies the adjacent bedroom. Our weekends typically consist of hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, camping, soccer, or frisbee. We enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, entertaining friends/family, and traveling.

About You:

Ideally, we are looking for a young professional/student with similar interests that is clean, has a positive attitude, pick up after themselves and can respect and maintain all common areas. Given the COVID-19 situation, we will be screening potential roommates over Zoom to understand if the personalities align. You will need to provide verification of employment, pass credit check and provide monthly rent no later than the 28th of each month.
