One room in awesome 2 br / 2.5 bath townhouse near Downton Menlo Park

Available starting July 1 with some flexibility (either later or earlier) if needed! This place is a true gem in the unpleasant sea of overpriced housing options, depressing apartment complexes and nitpick landlords. Unfortunately I am relocating out of the state and therefore am posting the room.

House:
You would have one room with private bathroom in a shared 2 bedroom / 2.5 bathroom / 2 story, ~1400 sqft (130 sq meters) town house with one fantastic housemate in a great location near downtown Menlo Park.

The townhouse is part of a small, very cute complex with 7 units. It has a gated courtyard with many plants, trees, and even a fountain. The place is small enough that we know all the neighbors and everyone is friendly. There is plenty of street parking, but you would have a designated, underground, covered gated, parking spot.

The room is roughly 120 square feet not including a decent sized closet. The room is on the second floor and has a large window with great natural light. You also get your own full private bathroom. The townhouse has: very large shared living space, great kitchen, small backyard and propane barbecue, a lemon tree, and lots of vegetation. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and abundant storage both in the unit and a bonus locked closet in the parking garage area.

Location:
The location is excellent. You are a few minute walk to downtown Menlo Park, a 2 min walk to Draeger's Market, and less than 5 minute walk to Menlo Park Trader Joe's. Menlo Park Caltrain station is a 4 minute bike ride away and Stanford campus is under 10 minutes on bike. The area is quiet, but conveniently located near everything you'll need including many restaurants and coffee shops in downtown Menlo Park.

Housemate:
You will be sharing the townhouse with one housemate who is a working professional at a local software startup. He has been a great housemate and has all the qualities that one could hope for in a housemate: clean, considerate, friendly. He is social but pretty well occupied with work.

Lease details:
You would be taking over for the remainder of lease going from July 1 to October 1 with the option to continue, if you choose. Rent is $1775/mo + utilities with a $2,000 refundable deposit.This could be a great option if you're just moving to the area and don't want to be locked into something for a huge length of time. Most likely you will want to stay because this place is awesome! I would be staying if I weren't moving out of state!
