Palo Alto: 1 BR Available in a 3BR/2BA Apartment

Hi there! We are looking for 1 new roommate to move into 1 room in a 3 bedroom apartment.

The layout of the whole apartment is great. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 of which is in the master bedroom. The room that is available will share the bathroom with 1 of the roommates. The rooms come with a full bed + mattress, if desired. The master is on the other side of the apartment and is well separated from the 2 rooms.

The shared space includes a kitchen (with dishwasher) + dining table, living room, and balcony. The apartment complex has a pool, onsite laundry (new washers and dryers!). There is street parking available no problem.

About the roommates:

J: I am a male researcher working for an automotive company in the area. I am vegetarian. I have no restrictions on what my roommates can cook/eat in the house. I only ask for you to be respectful of my preferences and I will extend the same. After a long day's work, I enjoy coming back home, chilling, catching up with my roommates and many times enjoying dinner together too. Over weekends, its a balance between finishing chores and enjoying some good California weather (when possible) with friends. I'm not a cleanliness fanatic but would like all of us to keep the apartment regularly clean and do our share.

S: I am a female accountant working at Stanford and grew up in the bay area. I enjoy the outdoors, guitar, board games, cafes, and hanging with friends. After work I look forward to fun fitness classes, swim/bouldering, chilling out with roommates/friends. On weekends I spend time with family/friends and enjoy life lol. I'm easy going, bubbly, and minimal. I'll be sharing the bathroom with the new roommate and looking for someone who can help keep the bathroom tidy, as it’s quite clean.

The location is near the intersection of El Camino Real and Ventura Avenue in Palo Alto. We are within a few minutes walk to Starbucks, Happy Donuts, Pizza Chicago, Rice Thai Cuisine, DaSichuan, and several other nice restaurants. It is a convenient bike ride to Stanford Campus, California Avenue, or downtown Palo Alto along Park Blvd.

Rent is $1,128 which includes utilities. It is available starting October 5, 2018. Please note that we’re looking for a roommate to sign a 1-year lease (unfortunately we’re unable to take short term roommates). Also the apartment does not allow pets.
