Pioneers of the Startup Castle (Woodside/Atherton) - $800

This is a community built for success in one of the most amazing places in all of Silicon Valley. To start with; it is amongst the largest estates in all of Silicon Valley, 17,000 square feet. We also have a huge event space and rich schedule of events that attracts top investors and startup luminaries (tech talks, startup workshops, black tie events etc.). The space is rounded out with an office, library, conference room, and more private spaces hidden away than you would believe. To top it off, we have a commercial-quality gym. As a community, we try to make life easier by offering community food, furnishings, and other odds and ends so that you can focus on bigger things.

In order to bring this to you, we have to have some rules to create a healthy and productive environment for all. In this house you may not be disruptive, destructive, wasteful, or dishonest, nor tolerate others that are. If you don't respect the community, you get kicked out.

Members will help each other by taking responsibility for a community task. This could be trash, dishes, cooking, organizing group workouts, driving, or other tasks. If you're too busy, you can hire it out, but you have responsibility to contribute. As we grow in numbers, we'll hire out the simple stuff and focus on the awesome.

We're looking for people that can contribute to our tech community with great knowledge and huge ambition. You should realize that you are coming in to an amazing personal and professional opportunity to be here, and treat it as such.

The price is $1000 to join the community for the first month, and $800 for all subsequent months. Members sleep in the castle dormitory, which really just a bunch of beds to crash out on, don't have a lot of stuff in tow, and may not have a car (car fees extra). If you have big ambitions and simple needs, I feel confident that this is the best living opportunity in Silicon Valley for the lowest price available.
