TWO furnished (available, or bring your own) and spacious rooms in redwood city, close to campus. BIKERS PLEASE NOTE house is about 3.8 miles from stanford straight down el camino, FLAT surface, takes 15-20 minutes! 30 minutes or so via ALAMEDA de las pulgas. 8-12 minutes by car.

house is located off el camino real, near woodside road. also convenient to 101, 280. about 15-20 minute WALK to caltrain (redwood city) or 5-8 minute bicycle ride. house is 4 bedroom, 2 bath. 2 bedrooms available which share a bathroom. house is currently occupied by 2 individuals (myself- male, age 32, i am a 5th year surgery resident at stanford hospital and my roommate is male, age 28, an engineer at box.com). house is quiet and very clean and neat. large kitchen. separate living and family rooms. utils, directv satellite tv and wireless internet included. neighborhood is quiet and mostly families. i also have large back patio with bbq area and treadmill and storage shed. use of washer and dryer included too. garage has been made into a fitness room (home gym) available for workouts. I DO NOT ASK MUCH FROM MY ROOMMATES EXCEPT THAT YOU KEEP THINGS CLEAN AND NEAT!

my parents visit me sometimes and stay with me. they are very nice and down to earth and keep to themselves and stay in my room (i have enough space for 2 beds in my room). previous roommates have never had any issues with this. i also have a cat that stays in my room pretty much all the time. my roommates often even forgot i had a cat (never saw him, no odor, no mess, no hair, etc.)- i do not anticipate this causing any problems for you unless you are severely allergic.

overall i think the house is quite nice considering what else is available (top tier in my opinion). monthly rent is $1100 per room (incl EVERYTHING- utils, laundry, storage, tv, internet, CLEANING SERVICE) and available for occupancy by one person (or maybe two- NEGOTIABLE) per room only (unless you rent both rooms as a package deal). thank you! previous occupants have had only good things to say!
