Private Bedroom in 3-Bedroom RWC Duplex $850

We are looking for a third roommate in our spacious three bedroom, two bath duplex in Redwood City starting April 1. We are located between the 280 and El Camino, a block from the Red Morton Community Park. We have a great kitchen­­--it's well stocked as we like to cook!­­ and a cozy living room. The kitchen comes with a dishwasher and loads of cabinet space plus an island. There is a washer/dryer as well in a separate laundry room. We are both non-smokers and there is absolutely no smoking allowed anywhere on the property (this is in the lease).

Available bedroom: 11 x 12, hardwood floors. There is no closet in the room but you will have a small closet just outside the room in the hallway and additional storage/closet space in the laundry room. Current roommate who is (sadly!) moving out has a nice armoire for sale if interested in additional closet space. Otherwise room will be unfurnished (pics show current roommate's setup/give you an idea of what furniture will fit in the room). Room shares a bathroom with one other roommate (female).

House has two off-street parking spots and there is always on-street parking available. Rent is $850 per month plus 1/3 of utilities and internet. Must be willing to sign a 1-year lease beginning April 1. You will have to pay a $50 fee for a background check in order to be added to the lease.

You'd be living with two female roommates, mid to late 20s. One works in tech and the other is a grad student at Stanford. This is a very chill house; we both work long days and appreciate being able to come home to a clean, (mostly) quiet space. We sometimes have friends over for dinner, drinks, etc and you would be welcome to do the same. Basically, we are super normal, pretty friendly and like to hang out, but also work a lot. We are clean, but we wouldn't recommend eating off our floor. We are cool with either a male or female roommate. We have a very cuddly and friendly cat. Unfortunately, no other pets are allowed.
