Private Room in 2 Bedroom apartment for rent in downtown palo alto

My apartment-mate is moving out of the area, so I am renting a bedroom in a 980 sq ft (very big) 2bd apartment in downtown palo alto (at the intersection of Bryant Street and Hawthorne.)

5-7 min walk from the caltrain.
5 min walk to all the bars, clubs and restaurants in downtown palo alto.
7 min walk from Stanford's campus

The apartment is furnished but the room is not. While the bedroom is not furnished, the kitchen is fully stocked with pans, utensils, blenders, microwaves, oven, etc. The living room has a sofa, a 50" TV with an Xbox and a lazy boy armchair. The bathroom is also fully stocked with mats, paper towels, etc. There is a parking space available if you have a car.

The rent is $1650 per month (pro rated) available from June 1st. The room is available on a month-to-month lease but I prefer having a long term apartment-mate.

About me:
I am a Stanford PhD graduate student. I am usually not home on weekdays and only come home to sleep. I am also usually out on weekends. I am clean and enjoy having friends over once in a while on weekends to watch movies or converse over wine.
