Private Room in 2bed 1.5bath Redondo Beach Apt

I'm looking for a new roommate to fill the 2nd bedroom in my 2 bed 1.5 bath upstairs apartment in Redondo Beach. The rent will be $1350.00 plus utilities which average $75-$100 per person per month. A 1-year signed lease is required and $1300.00 security deposit. The apartment is managed by a Property Management company and they will require new tenants to complete an application and final decision is up to them. This will be available for move in by 08-01-26 but possibly sooner! Sorry, but no pets and no smoking please.

THE APARTMENT:

This is a fully furnished, nicely decorated upstairs, 2 bed 1.5 bath apartment located near Prospect and Beryl Ave. The main bathroom is only shared by me for showering purposes, but will otherwise only be used by you (so semi-private??). I have the 1/2 bath in my bedroom and use it for all other bathroom needs. The room available will be unfurnished. It has great natural lighting as well as an evening breeze from the large window and a standard sized, mirrored, sliding door closet as shown in the pics. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cookware, dinnerware, appliances (including a dishwasher!). There is a laundry room onsite and only shared by 2 other tenants and is coin-operated. We do have a small one car garage which will be shared for parking purposes. If you have a larger vehicle though, it will NOT fit in the garage (just a heads up). There is street parking also and can get limited at times, but I've always been able to find parking no more than 1-2 blocks away. Unfortunately, no other large furniture will fit in the common areas so you will only be able to bring your own bedroom furniture.

ABOUT ME:

I'm a 32 year old, single, gay male (but in a cool way). I work a normal 9 to 5 job as an Office Manager based in Gardena. During the week, I have a pretty strict routine that I stick to (work, gym, dinner, relax/bedtime). On the weekends, I enjoy slow mornings with coffee, reading, happy hours, restaurants, movies, beach days, rollerblading, and hanging out with friends and family. I'm very personable and can get along with almost anyone. I'm responsible, mature, and very respectful and courteous of others. I am not a party-type person and view my home as my sanctuary. I'm a very clean and tidy person and expect my roommate to be the same please! I've had great experiences with roommates in the past and even remain friends with them to this day, so would like to keep those good vibes going! I don't have people over very often, but if I do it's usually just a friend over for dinner and a movie. Again, this is not a party house. Any overnight guests are always communicated ahead of time.

ABOUT YOU:

Male or female 23-40 years old with a full time job and stable income. Must be respectful, mature, and clean. I don't mind WFH schedules as I'm typically gone during the day for work anyway so that's not a problem. Ideally, I'm looking for something more long-term, but understand that it's hard to plan that far into the future, so for now, I'm just asking for a 1-year commitment.
