Private Room in amazing shared 4BD3BATH House in Palo Alto

We have an updated, unfurnished, single room available in our newly renovated, 4-bdrm, 3-bathroom, 1-story house in Palo Alto.

• The monthly rent is $1550 + bills and the room is open to lease and move-in anytime starting Jan 1st.
• We are looking for someone to commit to renting until the end of the current lease to August 31, 2018.

The Room:
-The room has hard wood floors, an ensuite closet, and can fit a queen size bed with room for a nightstand and bookshelf/study desk at ~10.5x12ft.
-It shares a full, modern bathroom with 1 other male housemate. Shower is a large tiled, walk-in shower.
-The bedroom is unfurnished.
-The house common areas are fully furnished and there is a large closet with a washer and dryer. The access to the washer and dryer closet is through the room so whoever is in the room needs to be comfortable with the other housemates coming in to do laundry at scheduled times set by the housemate living in this room.

Rent:
-Rent costs $1550 and includes furnished house (except unfurnished bedroom) and garage storage (for bikes and boxes).
-Additional costs include utilities ($50-90/person a month), super high-speed Internet and cable TV/HBO ($25/person a month), and splitting maid service (~$30/person per a service, 1-2x month)

House
-This modern house is a spacious 2000+ sq ft and was fully renovated with hard wood floors, all new kitchen and bathrooms, new appliance including dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer
-The contemporary kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances including a gas stove and oven, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and microwave.
-There is a sizable, fully furnished living room and dining room area with an open floor plan and nice natural light. Includes a huge round dining table, couch set, coffee table and 3 bar stools
-60-inch TV with DVR basic cable/HBO
-Large LG clothes washer and dryer in the house
-Central A/C and heater
-Tons of free street car parking in front of the house and no through-street traffic.
-Garage for parking bikes and storage and small backyard area
-Clean house that stays clean with the shared maid service!
-Price includes landscaping of the house.

Location
-Amazing location in Palo Alto on Park Blvd (between Alma St and El Camino).
-Walking distance (0.7m) to main street of California Ave and the California Ave CALTRAIN stop.
-Biking distance to Stanford and Univ Ave.
-There are multiple grocery stores (Mollie Stone, Grocery Outlet, Whole Foods, Trader Joe, Safeway, Sprouts), restaurants, and shopping nearby around California Ave, El Camino and Alma st
-Location is pretty central, especially for those looking to go to Stanford and downtown Palo Alto.
-Overall very bike friendly and near Palo Alto bike path.
-Easy access to tech HQs such as Palantir, Google, and Facebook.

Housemates

• The 3 housemates (2 girls, 1 guy) are all laid-back, respectful, generally busy, working professionals in their late 20s-30.
• One female housemate went to Harvard and works in private equity/investing in tech companies.
• The male is from Oklahoma originally and is a medical residency student (pediatric/diabetes focus) doing research at = Stanford Medical. This is who the room shares a bathroom with.
• Another female housemate is from Paris and completed a PHD in engineering and works at a tech firm in Palo Alto.

We are looking for another professional/grad student, non-smoking housemate who is ideally laid-back and clean in common spaces. Only looking for 1 person for the room.
Either male or female is fine.
Sorry, NO pets and NO live-in partners.

The current housemate in the room, Jake, is amazing but has to move-out due to a work location change and will be conducting the initial house tours. When you email your details and he'll reach out to try to setup a house tour asap.
