Private room(s) in 4b/2b in East Palo Alto, move-in mid-Feb: $819/mo

One of our housemates is leaving around mid-February so we're looking for someone who can commit to taking her room within the next couple of weeks.

The room is about 180 sq. feet and will likely be unfurnished other than a couple of dressers. It has a built-in closet with mirrored sliding doors. Also very likely to have another room (not pictured) open at the end of February that's smaller but similarly priced.

We're three guys aged 23-26: a postdoc (chemical engineering), a master's student (mechanical engineering), and a research assistant (economics) all at Stanford. We're easygoing about house rules other than general courtesy noise-wise on weeknights.

• Address is at Hunter Street in East Palo Alto (close to the 101, IKEA, Facebook)

• About 25 min by bike / 15-25 min (depending on traffic) by car to Stanford. Three of us have biked it almost every day for the past year and it's a pretty flat and easy ride with bike lanes almost the whole way (University Ave)

• Palo Alto is the nearest Caltrain station (so pretty much the same distance)

• House was completely renovated before we moved in late 2015.

• Kitchen with garbage disposal, gas stove, large refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave

• Living room with TV, large sofa, and dining table

• Hardwood floors

• Washer/dryer on the back porch

• Parking space in front of the house. Plenty of space and only one of us drives. No issues with vandalism in 1.5 years living here.

• Pretty large backyard (that we underutilize) with several trees

• Rent: $819/mo + around $100/mo for utilities

• Deposit: $800 security deposit + $819 for last month of rent (so $1619 upfront plus rent depending on when you move in)

• Lease: until Aug 31st 2017 at which point rent will likely increase a little bit (went up 2.4% last year)
