Hello!
We are two female graduate students at Stanford University looking for a third roommate.
We are friendly, considerate and laid back. We can be busy with our different worlds at times but like to spend time together when we are home :)
We live in the California Avenue area of Palo Alto, and are biking and walking distance away from Stanford University, Caltrain Station, Town + Country shopping center, etc. It’s a very convenient location if you study or work at Stanford, and don’t want to depend on a car.
The apartment we have is one of five units on the first floor with a beautiful private fenced in back yard. We are in a large two-bedroom-one-bath apartment and we have cleverly constructed a 3rd bedroom in our very large living room. One of the roommates used to live in this space, but is now moving to one of the bedrooms. Therefore, we are looking for someone to occupy this space that we call Narnia [love it or hate it].
Narnia is very private for being part of the living room. There are solid bookshelves separating Narnia from the living room, and a makeshift door constructed out of an IKEA closet (hence Narnia). Narnia is actually quite spacious. At the moment, Narnia has a queen bed in it, a bench and a bedside table comfortably in there. One set of the bookshelves faces into Narnia, creating a beautiful shelving/storage space and the coat closet just outside of Narnia would be your own personal closet. Due to Narnia being in the shared space, we will discuss our schedules and figure out how to make Narnia work for all of us!
The apartment has a fully functioning kitchen, one bathroom, lots of storage space and laundry facilities in the apartment building! There is plenty of street parking if you do have a car.
Narnia will be available May 15th to June 30th as a sublease. And after this date we have the option to sign another year-long lease for the whole apartment.
Here’s a bit more about us!
Roommate 1:
I am 23 years old. When I’m not science-ing, I like to draw and play guitar (but not too loudly).
Roommate 2:
I am 30 years old. When I’m not in school working on my research, I like to travel, do yoga, go hiking, and explore the area.
About roommate 3: YOU! Tell us a little about yourself and ask us any questions you may have!
