We have a room opening up in house in the Willows neighborhood of Menlo Park March 15. The move in date is flexible. It's a 10 minute commute to Stanford and walking distance to many shops and restaurants.
About the house: It's a super cute vintage 3 bed/ 2 bath house with a fenced in side yard deck. There is a main common area, a spacious kitchen with a dishwasher and gas range and a built in bench/ table nook. We have a washer and dryer that will get your clothes clean! The open room has a jack-and-jill style bedroom shared with another bedroom, and a window that opens up to the deck. Your room would be unfurnished.
Rent for the room is $1300 a month which includes all utilities and yard maintenance (except for internet, which is $67 a month and split between all housemates).
The house is managed through Advent Properties, and our lease runs through the end of October with (to our knowledge) the opportunity to renew for another year.
About us: My BF and I life in the master bedroom (he does data at Facebook), and a Facebook software engineer lives in the other bedroom. We are all clean, respectful, and friendly, and looking for someone who's reliable and easy to get along with.
We have a corgi dog who is super friendly and would love to be your new best friend, and an indoor cat (who stays in the master bedroom). We have to request that you not have any pets (fish are fine though), otherwise the house would get too chaotic.
