Room available in Menlo Park 2 BR/1.5 BA apartment

I'm looking for a roommate (female preferred) to take my place in a two bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment starting August 1st. This is a 6 month lease. Please read the whole post before contacting me! If the listing is up, it's still available.

The apartment has been newly remodeled and is on the first floor of a small complex in a great Menlo Park neighborhood. Trader Joe's, Safeway, and downtown Menlo Park are only a 5 minute walk away and it's a 15 minute bike ride to Stanford. The Menlo Park Caltrain station is also just a few blocks away. There's a shared parking spot as well as plenty of street parking. We have brand new appliances including a dishwasher and washer/dryer in suite. The apartment is mostly furnished in the common spaces, and your furniture is welcome if you want to bring anything.

The bedroom is unfurnished, but furnishings can be negotiable (e.g, bed, clothing storage, bedside table, etc.). There's a good size closet in the room as well as another closet in the hall (there is also a shared coat closet in the living room--there's no lack of storage). You will share a bathroom with one other person who only uses it for the shower.

The rent is $1625 plus around $40-50 for utilities/internet. The security deposit is one month's rent.

Your roommate would be a mid-20something professional and work in Palo Alto at a tech start up. I've known her since kindergarten, so I can definitely vouch for her! She used to work for a non-profit doing HR, so start-up life is new to her. She enjoys running, cooking, volunteering, DIY, and hulu binges. She's an organizer for a meetup, so she likes to occasionally have people over for DIY night, dinner, or game nights. She's looking for someone who enjoys sometimes hanging out in the evenings and is fairly neat/respectful of keeping a clean space.
