Long version:
I am moving out of our lovely Menlo Park apartment. I've loved living here for the last 3 years and am sad to leave!
About the house:
- private bedroom, shared bathroom with one other female roommate
- nice wooden floors and natural light
- 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment
About the people:
- 1 grad student and 1 research assistant at stanford
- one roommate is an amazing cook who will regularly feed you delicious homemade snacks, loves reading and working with kids
- the other is a jiujitsu-practicing, camera-wielding social activist-neuroscientist
- both are wonderful housemates!
About the location:
- safe quiet neighborhood, near downtown Menlo Park shops and restaurants
- 10 minute walk to Menlo Park caltrain
- lots of lovely running trails nearby
- 4 blocks to Trader Joe's and Safeway
- 10-15 minute bike ride to Stanford campus
Logistics & Finances:
- $1200 rent, + utilities and wifi (usually about $60 a month)
- street parking available with permit
- move in starting March 4th, lease ends in September (option to renew)
What we're looking for:
- preferably female
- clean, respectful, ability to pay rent on time
- no couples, no pets
