A room is available in a 4-bedroom town house starting Aug 1st (can be available if needed earlier) to Oct 31st (may be extended). The house is in a quiet neighborhood in Sunnyvale with proximity to El Camino Real, Freeways 280 and 101. Sunnyvale Caltrain station is 1.5 miles away (7-10 min bike ride). Many popular restaurants, grocery stores and convenience stores are within 0.5 – 2.0 mi radii (TJs, Sprouts, Safeway, Target, 7-11 etc.).

I work as a Post Doc at Stanford University and share the house with three other working professionals. The place is ideal for an individual working professional who either works within 10-15 mi of Sunnyvale or uses Caltrain to commute to work. If you are working from home (during the COVID times) this house will be a delight to stay in - with lots of sun in a pleasant (furnished + grill) backyard for changing work space or taking a break from work.

The inmates of the house are considerate for others and keep the common spaces neat and clean – the same is expected of you if you decide to move in.

The room offered is 12ft x 14ft in area, has a built in closet and is semi furnished with a table+ chair, 2 night stands + drawers + ironing board and iron + a monitor + 5.1 bose speakers + lamps. There is no bed in the room but can be arranged if needed. The house is centrally air conditioned and has washer and dryer.

The rent per month is 1000$ + Utilities (around $120- $180 per month per person) or 1150$ per month including utilities which ever is more convenient.
