room + bathrrom for rent in 2bdrm apartment in Oakland

I am renting an unfurnished bedroom w/ a private entrance and private bathroom in spacious 2 bedroom apartment in Oakland's Laurel district. There is also a storage area available. The apartment has very high ceilings, lots of natural light, is fully furnished but the room will come unfurnished. The kitchen is fully stocked w/ all the utensils one could want and there is a washer/dryer in the unit.

The ideal roommate would be relatively quiet if you are home during the day. You would be sharing the apartment with me, a PhD student and I have a home office and need peace and quiet to write my dissertation. After 9:30pm is quiet time! All common areas must be kept clean. (Especially the kitchen!) A fellow PhD student who has similar needs for a low-key atmosphere is ideal. No drugs, no parties, no cigarette smoking allowed.

Your portion of utilities which is wifi and PG&E (depending on our usage of the gas heater during the winter) is no higher than $100 but much less during the warmer summer/spring months.

Move in August 15th and pay 1/2 rent ($600) + deposit ($1250) = $1850 move in costs. I prefer to have someone who is willing to stay through the entire academic year. No short term rentals.
