Ten minute bike ride from Stanford through tree-lined Palo Alto residential area and then downtown Palo Alto.
It is also 10 minutes from Google and FB.

It has its own entrance from the garden.
It also leads directly into a bathroom shared with me, older professional woman.

This room is in an old house surrounded by a huge unkempt garden and lots of big trees. Quiet, rather rustic greenbelt area, with mixed-residential houses (as well as small apartment buildings a couple of blocks away housing many Stanford students).

The room has a microwave and small refrigerator ((no kitchen for regular cooking), adequate furniture, sheets/pillows/quilt. You can add things to make it cozy for you. It is well-lit with good lighting at night and two cross-windows for day sunlight.

Thus, this is self-contained, personal, minimalistic living with no access to rest of the house and no housemates.

There is a Starbucks, Laundromat, and other stores (Taqueria, gym, bagels,Cchinese restaurant, Super Cuts, ATM, laundry., EV charging) 2 blocks away.
